Access Control Readers (1,387)
BQT has specifically designed its sleek new range of smartcard readers for the broader marketplace. The MiniGuard series is intended to service the full spectrum of access control card applications and provide a seamless and logical upgrade path for existing Proximity/Mifare users to migrate to a more secure platform. The line-up consists of: BM680 Proximity Reader (multi-format) BM682 Mifare Classic (CSN or BQT sector) BM683 Mifare Classic (custom keys and formats) BM684 Mifare/DESfire (CSN or BQT sector) BM686 Mifare/DESfire/3DES (custom keys and formats). The stylish new range utilises state-of-the-art "green" technology, drawing a meagre 50 milliamps in power-save mode and offers a wide operating range of 7-20vDC. Designed with both the architect and the installer in mind, the new mini-series is a mere 88.55mm high, 42.95mm wide and 20.70mm deep. All readers are covered by a five-year warranty.
Add to CompareThe Energy saving reader helps facilities managers to reduce expenditure on energy by guaranteeing that lights and air conditioning switch off when not in use.Compatible with Switch2 and Net2, the energy saving reader's cover is designed to retain a user's proximity card. When a card is placed in the reader, its presence toggles a relay that allows connected equipment to be switched on. Unlike other readers the Energy saving reader continues to check for an authorised card; all the time one is present equipment will remain on. When a card is removed the relay toggles back and turns any connected equipment off. Savings are guaranteed because personnel require their cards to unlock doors around an access controlled site. Companies that already have a Net2 access control system will benefit from introducing the reader to all office, meeting, function and conferencing facilities where lights and air conditioning contribute to expensive energy bills. The energy saving reader can also help a site adhere to strict health and safety guidelines. When fitted to hazardous machinery, the use of such equipment can be restricted to authorised card holders only.Offer customers something different: Help save your customers moneySafety: Restrict the use of hazardous machinery to authorised usersOther applicationsFlood/sports lightsFork lift trucks and works vehicles

Add to CompareThe Door Interface Unit (DIU 210) is designed primarily to provide power to a door lock, as well as local power to a CEM reader when a high level of security is required. It has onboard inputs which can be used to monitor conditions such as a fire alarm or activated Break-glass condition. The DIU 210 improves door security, by allowing the installer to locate lock controls on the secure side of a door, with an intelligent CEM reader on the unsecured side. The DIU 210 communicates with an intelligent CEM reader over a single pair RS485 cable. Upon a valid swipe at the card reader, the reader will instruct the DIU (over the RS485 communications channel) to activate the appropriate output to release the lock using a coded data signal (i.e. coded lock).
