Overview
The Kuwait National Assembly Complex houses the Parliament of Kuwait. The Assembly Hall, the Central Street and the Covered Square are special elements that dominate the architecture of the complex. The National Assembly's financial responsibilities include approval of the state budget and final accounts. The National Assembly has the right to set up standing as well as ad-hoc committees from among its members including Committee Interior Affairs and Defence, Committee on Financial and Economic Affairs, Committee on Legislative and Legal Affairs.
Solution
The National Assembly Complex is using A4Vision solutions for employee time and attendance, providing a proof positive identity solution for tracking employee time. There are over 1000 employees and 12 Face Readers deployed at this site.
Several key benefits for using the A4Vision biometric solution for time and attendance include providing additional security and eliminating "buddy punching". Security is increased by providing audit capabilities of who is on and off-site at any given time. Buddy punching can be a significant Human Resources issue leading to overpaying of wages and loss of productivity and is eliminated with the use of A4Vision technology for identity verification.
For the employees, the solution is quick and easy for clock in/out since the solution eliminated the need for cards. The requirement now is to glance at the Face Reader and be verified for a clock in or out transaction.
Deployment
The installed solution utilizes the Vision Access 3D Face Reader and the 3Di (3D Integration) application for enrolment and template distribution. A4Vision was highly integrated with IBA "integrated business application" developed and designed by Data Pulse Est. IBA is a bilingual system, designed according to regulations and rules of each business and country labor rules. A4Vision products are built specifically to be quick and easy to integrate with 3rd party systems making deployment simplified.
The A4Vision system is working in identification mode at this site, making it very quick and convenient for users to move through the system when they need to clock In/Out. In identification mode there is no card or pin number required, 
only that the user glance at the reader to complete the transaction. There are two primary modes of operation for A4Vsion biometric devices, verification (1:1) and identification (1: n). A4Visions 3D facial recognition system is unique in that it can perform identification transaction with large databases for Time and Attendance applications while maintaining very accurate matching levels.
