Mortice deadlatch, 28.5 mm backset

Alpro 5218202 is a mechanical locking device that provides security deadlocking for a variety of aliminum doors including swinging and sliding applications. It is a narrow stile short throw barbolt deadlock to suit the mortice cylinder 31/32" backset.

Alpro's Touch Bar Series of panic exit hardware is not only visually attractive but is comfortable to grip, enabling the unit to be used to close the door and is easy to cut on-site during installation. The Series is available in single, double or triple latching point variations for single or double door combinations and can be used with or without external access device. It has under taken 1.5 million test cycles (over 7.5 times the highest requirement of the standard) offering exceptional levels of durability and functionality.

Key bypass (combination override) internal handle, external knob, hold back facility and mortice barrel latch bolt. 3 options KD= keyed different (each lock cylinder & key are different); KA= keyed alike (a group of locks with the same cylinder & keys 'to pass'); KM=keyed to master (a group of locks each keyed different with the facility to have one or more master keys.

The ACD PIN code operates as an autonomous access control system in conjunction with a commercially available door lock. PIN codes can contain from 1 to 8 digits, freely selectable by the customer. Up to four PIN codes can be stored. Permanent release is also possible. The external handle is freewheeling and will not engage until a correct PIN code is entered. The door release time can be set at 3, 8, 12 or 20 seconds. The electronics ensure that the door can only be opened once during the release period. Power is supplied by 3 miniature cells. An optical signal indicates when the batteries need to be replaced.
