Kavita Oberoi, co-owner and director Octavian Security is quite optimistic about the deals finalised in Derby |
If an alarm is activated at any of the premises, notification is sent directly to Octavian's control room on Pride Park and a security guard is immediately dispatched to investigate. Once a rapid incident report has been obtained, the guard will then act on the previously agreed instructions of the business owner, which usually involves securing the premises, resetting the alarm and issuing an incident report by email.
"Our security officers are trained to deal with every kind of situation," commented Octavian Security co-owner and director Kavita Oberoi. "When an alarm is activated it can usually be easily explained, but there's always the chance that it could be something more sinister. By using our service, the businesses owners are not only investing in the security of their premises, but also their own personal safety by not having to venture into a potentially dangerous situation".
"It's crucial that any problems are investigated as quickly as possible and, as many of our clients are based on Pride Park, we're able to provide an extremely rapid response time, which many other security firms just aren't able to offer."
New client Bob Betts, managing director of global clock specialist Smith of Derby said: "With Octavian being based near us in Pride Park, we know that no other firm could match their five to ten minute response times, which is crucial to our business' security."
Octavian Security moved to Derby's Pride Park earlier this year, having previously been based in Colwick, Nottinghamshire.
