Paxton Access Limited, the UK's market leader in the manufacture of access control is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Cowling as Large Projects Manager. With a degree in industrial design and over 6 years engineering and project management experience, Tom will support and manage large Net2 access control installations.
After leaving De Montfort University, Tom joined ‘Industrial Design', a new department at engineering consultants ‘The Engineering Link'. Responsible for rail layout changes and safety systems, he worked closely with clients throughout each project's life cycle.
Tom moved to Frontier Pitts (FP), a manufacturer of sliding gates, hydraulic kerbs and other perimeter security equipment, to focus on project design and management. While collaborating on large scale security projects Tom became interested in, and learnt about access control systems through his contact with security installers. "I knew that Paxton Access was the industry leader. When the position became available it was the natural step and an easy decision," said Tom.
His appointment will have a positive impact on those parties involved in the specification and installation of Net2 at sites with fifty or more doors. Tom will actively seek out large projects and will manage all bespoke requirements personally. His arrival reflects Paxton Access' commitment to clients and shows why they're respected throughout the industry for customer service.
Tom says, "I will be working directly with installation companies and their clients on a lot of challenging and exciting projects, ensuring that each site's requirements are met exactly. When I told former customers and contacts about my move to Paxton Access their responses were very positive, reflecting Paxton Access' strong reputation for customer service and support."
