Recognising the massive potential in Italy for its professional security products, Samsung Techwin has recruited two experienced CCTV professionals.
Fabio Andreoni, who has been appointed Country Manager, was previously with Sony where, as Business Development Manager for the Visual Communication division, he has successfully contributed to the development of the Video over IP market.
Claudio Fassiotti, who has joined Samsung Techwin as Technical Manager, was a systems specialist for Johnson Controls for five years and was involved in CCTV, Access Control and BMS projects. Claudio then moved on to Bosch Security Systems where he was responsible for technical support for CCTV and Video over IP.
Samsung Techwin's ambition is to become the total security solutions provider in Italy. Mr Jake Kim, Managing Director of Samsung Techwin's professional security division said: "Italy is a very important market for us and we are therefore very pleased to have Claudio and Fabio as part of our team. Their knowledge and experience will, I am certain, make a valuable contribution to our success in Italy."
2009 will see many new products and technologies presented to the Italian market including new, exciting CCTV products - both analogue and IP based, and also new Access Control and RFID solutions.
The appointment of Claudio and Fabio, who will be based in Milan, is part of an ongoing expansion programme to support Samsung Techwin's commitment to be the number one European professional security brand. With its head office in the UK, the company has also recently opened offices in France, Spain, Germany and the Czech Republic.
