Honeywell recently announced a new version of its Pro-Watch security management system, Pro-Watch 4.0. The Pro-Watch system is Honeywell’s flagship integrated security management platform that allows large companies to easily manage complex systems that tie together access control, IP video surveillance, intrusion detection and building management technology for tighter security and increased productivity. Pro-Watch 4.0 includes new features such as support for wireless readers, new compliance reporting functions and web-based alarm and event management capabilities.
With built-in Ingersoll Rand Schlage AD-400 Wireless Reader integration, Pro-Watch 4.0 leverages wireless technology to accelerate the installation process and reduce the need for additional wiring. This drives down material and labour costs for installers. In addition, the system’s wireless functionality helps installers extend protection to areas that are difficult to reach with wired readers such as in historical buildings or remote locations.
