Event provided comprehensive offering of products, education and networking for the Northeast security market |
Business activity was evident in the exhibit hall, consisting of over 250 companies, including an increased presence of international manufacturers, as well as the new Public Security & Safety Expo focused on solutions for securing homeland, municipalities and infrastructure.
"We are very happy with this year's results, and our ability to deliver an increase in attendance, particularly government end-users," commented Ed Nichols, Vice President, ISC Events, "This reinforces the fact that the ISC Events continue to be the top resource for all segments of the industry end-users, system integrators, and dealers/installers with opportunities for each segment to discover solutions for their unique business challenges. Further, ISC East is the most valuable vehicle for manufacturers to reach the high concentration of those security professionals that reside in the Northeast."
"ISC East continues to provide a high ROI for Axis with a robust number of leads both days as well as great educational opportunities," commented Fredrik Nilsson, General Manager of Axis Communications, on the company's participation at this years event.
Additional features at ISC East included:
- Introduction of the SIA New Product Showcase, which included 86 products and was complemented by a demonstration theatre, allowing the buyers in attendance to see, touch and feel products that have been launched over the past year all in one centrally located area on the show floor. With over 60% of ISC East attendees not participating in any other national trade show, this was an area attendees had been asking for and was very well received and attended.
- The IP Technology Advancement Center (IP-TAC), a demonstration theatre that specifically highlighted the latest capabilities, trends and issues in IP technology through a series of presentations and panel discussions.
- ISC Education featured a number of new programs including the State of the Industry address on Thursday morning where industry leaders Bill Bozeman (President & CEO, PSA Security Network®), Gordon Hope (Chairman, Board of Directors, Security Industry Association), Lynn Mattice (Chairman, Board of Advisors, Security Executive Council), and Mike Miller (President, Electronic Security Association - formerly NBFAA) discussed current and future industry trends that are impacting their individual sectors and the industry as a whole.
- The all new education program at ISC East also featured education developed by the PSA Security Network® to serve security systems integrators, education developed by GSN: Government Security News for Public Security & Safety attendees, and the all new Vendor Solution Sessions with manufacturer training by Axis Communications, Dedicated Micros and Redline Communications.
ISC East 2010 will be held November 3-4 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York, NY.
