Bioscrypt Inc., a leading provider of identity and access management solutions, recently announced that Bioscrypt's VeriSoft access manager received the Best Buy award in SC Magazine's Biometrics Tools 2007 review, and its V-Station fingerprint reader and VisionAccess 3D Face Reader also received five out of a possible five stars in all categories.
SC Magazine declared that "(VeriSoft) is an excellent product, well priced and full of features," and gave the software top marks in each of the categories - features, ease of use, performance, documentation, support and value for money. VeriSoft supports multi-factor authentication and single sign-on and allows network administrators to set policy for logical access management onto networks, applications and computing devices. Depending on the type of application being accessed, administrators can ask for single-factor authentication using passwords or multi-factor authentication using a combination of factors, such as fingerprints and smart cards. VeriSoft also enables the unification of physical and logical identity and access management under a single unified policy.
Bioscrypt's V-Station was also lauded, with SC Magazine declaring that the fingerprint reader offers "strong biometric security for restricted areas at an affordable price." The V-Station fingerprint reader can make a match in under a second using a person's fingerprint and supports multi-factor authentication for physical access.
Bioscrypt's 3D Face Reader was declared "a versatile, competent facial recognition system with loads of features," with the magazine adding that it offers "easy installation and management" and is "facial recognition at a good value." The 3D face reader can authenticate employees as they enter work in under a second and can be used in conjunction with a smart card or PIN for multi-factor authentication.
