CompoSec 2010 is expected to grow in size and scope, taking place concurrently with SecuTech Expo |
There are plenty of component suppliers, from manufacturer spinoffs and IC design houses to chip foundries and semiconductor giants, but not all of their innovations are directly employable in security and video surveillance applications. Breakthroughs at the component level that allow for more robust capabilities can thus be hard to be identified, thwarting overall industry developments. Luckily, CompoSec 2010 will serve as the perfect business-matching ground to fulfill the needs of both security component suppliers and device manufacturers.
CompoSec, the conferences and exhibition for components in security technologies and applications, was launched in 2009 with a smashing turnout. Organised by integrated media service provider A&S Group, CompoSec 2010 is expected to grow in size and scope, taking place concurrently with SecuTech Expo from April 21 to 23, 2010 at the Taipei World Trade Center Nangang in Taiwan. Affiliated with CompoSec, SecuTech 2009 hosted more than 800 manufacturing elites and 22,000 visitors from all over the globe, with the best ODM/OEM selections from Taiwan, Korea, China, Japan and Southeast Asia.

Demanded by the 2009 sponsors, visitors and audience, an even more representative three-day educational program and 110 booths have been designated for CompoSec 2010 for security professionals and R&D decision makers to share insights, get technical updates and make deals at this one and only tech-centric gathering. In addition to product demos, seminars will center on imaging and optical sensors, ICs and semiconductor chips, and embedded software and other modules/systems, offering firsthand intelligence and invaluable networking opportunities to delegates that matter!
As the world's only platform dedicated to components in security technologies and applications, CompoSec 2010 will be welcoming industry heavyweights, such as Intel, Techwell, Texas Instruments, Sony and Sharp, to unveil next-generation marvels that will drive the future of electronic security. A panel discussion with market leaders like Honeywell and Bosch is also scheduled. In 2009, the first-ever CompoSec received more than 6,000 R&D personnel and product development decision makers; two days of professional presentations featured speakers from Texas Instruments, NXP, OmniVision, Xilinx, Grain Media, Ceramicro, Sunplus Core, Everlight, Ambarella and HuperLab.
Through high-caliber presentations, live demos and network events, CompoSec connects component developers to targeted technology partners who are chomping at the bit to ride the next wave of growth, ultimately reshaping the tomorrow of security technologies and applications.
