In November 2017, Thailand’s Defense & Security 2017 exhibition is projected to host over 400 of the world’s leading defence and security companies from 50 countries. The 2017 event will continue the show’s spectacular growth and is set to expand further in the number of exhibiting companies, exhibit space, trade visitors, and foreign official delegations.

Increasing exhibit space

Last week the Defense & Security team visited Indo Defence 2016 Expo & Forum and feedback from companies regarding a National Pavilion for the major Thai event was strong. Many companies expressed their interest to participate and a number of former exhibitors said they expect to increase their exhibit space with a bigger Pavilion at the Thai event.

Defense & Security 2017 is looking to host more than 25 National Pavilions, most of which will double the size of their last display. This will include Pavilions for UK, Germany, South Korea, and China. Turkey has requested almost 1,000 sqm of exhibit space for their military companies and USA, France, Israel, and Ukraine are expanding 30% - 50% compared to previous events.

Networking opportunities

Defense & Security 2017 has become a must-exhibit for global defence and security manufacturers and a key show for those in the industry. Over 300 official delegations including decision-makers from the Ministry of Defence, Chiefs of Armed Forces for the Army, Navy, Air Force and Police, plus High-Ranking Government officials from around the world—especially from ASEAN countries will be at the show. Over 15,000 trade visitors from 60 countries are now expected to attend, making Defense & Security one of the leading military events in the region.

Defense & Security 2017 will present outstanding opportunities to network and initiate long-term partnerships based on mutual trust and respect. Business opportunities will be as good as they get and provide a special window of opportunity for international manufacturers, including ASEAN defence and security markets—among the fastest growing in the world.
