BQT has specifically designed its sleek new range of smartcard readers for the broader marketplace. The MiniGuard series is intended to service the full spectrum of access control card applications and provide a seamless and logical upgrade path for existing Proximity/Mifare users to migrate to a more secure platform. The line-up consists of:

• BM680 Proximity Reader (multi-format)
• BM682 Mifare Classic (CSN or BQT sector)
• BM683 Mifare Classic (custom keys and formats)
• BM684 Mifare/DESfire (CSN or BQT sector)
• BM686 Mifare/DESfire/3DES (custom keys and formats).

The stylish new range utilises state-of-the-art "green" technology, drawing a meagre 50 milliamps in power-save mode and offers a wide operating range of 7-20vDC.

Designed with both the architect and the installer in mind, the new mini-series is a mere 88.55mm high, 42.95mm wide and 20.70mm deep.

All readers are covered by a five-year warranty.
