TDSi Infra-Red readers only, Analogue

Provides Wiegand card input for Wiegand swipe and proximity type cards, reading up to 64 bits per card. Reader power:-selectable 5-12V to meet most card reader power requirements. AC-1 has two 5A, Form C relays—one for the door lock and a second for local alarm annunciation. Up to three supervised alarm inputs can be used for door status contacts, request-to-exit devices, a cabinet tamper switch, or any other two-state or three-state (on/off/trouble) alarm device. Model AC-1a provides full I/O for an access controlled door or portal in one compact module while model AC-1Plus supports multiple card formats, ADA (Alternate Door Access) doors, and multiple reader LED patterns.

USB-CAM is a USB colour camera for photo ID systems and business card scanners.

This 2-door controller interfaces with third-party read heads, conforming to the physical Wiegand/Mag Stripe interfaces covering a range of technologies from RF Proximity to Biometric devices, with the CEM range of access control systems. The DCM 150 is suitable for installations where customers want to connect existing read head technology to any of CEM's intelligent controller products like webEntry or the S9020/S9040 with AC2000 SE. The DCM 150 does not provide local database support for off-line card validation.

Idesco Access 7 A is based on industry-wide standard 125 khz EM technology.  By launching Access 7 A Idesco can now offer its technology as an inexpensive alternative ideally suited to price sensitive installations. Access 7 A reads EM 4001 compatible tags and cards which are the most inexpensive options available on the market.  The reader is available with Wiegand 26 bit, Clock and Data and RS232 interfaces.  Access 7 A is an attractively designed unit, in keeping with Idesco's Access 7 C multi-technology reader, at an even more attractive price level.  Access 7 A is designed to offer more cost effective access control solutions to complement the Idesco's 13.56 Mhz readers designed for multi-faceted applications.

Keyscan’s NETCOM2 or NETCOM6 (encrypted) is a fast and easy way to allow Keyscan Access Control Units (ACUs) to be connected and communicate over a network. The exit reader module enables OUT readers to be connected to the access nodes for IN and OUT access control. Each access node will accommodate two exit reader modules, which simply plug on the connection pins on the board. Works with 3GS access control node (model 1342) for anti-pass.

The BT823/843W is a Mifare® contactless smart card reader and is designed for security applications where a card and/or PIN (Personal Identification Number) is required. It is used in security applications to read data from smart cards and to send data back to a controller to grant or deny access to a door. This reader comes standard with Wiegand and RS485 formats. It also incorporates an LED and Buzzer. The BT843W has pre-defined LCD text display for “Present card”, “Enter PIN”, “Access denied” and “Access granted”. Custom messaging is available via an RS485 line.

The AC-Q44 Stand-alone system is designed to be the most cost effective anti-vandal solution for outdoor residential, commercial and industrial applications. The controller is capable of handling up to 500 users with each user capable of being assigned with one or two codes. With two 5A Form C relay outputs and two inputs the AC-Q44 can function as a single door controller or even a two-door controller and more.

The control unit stores the access permissions of the user and is mounted within the building. This makes the system suitable for high security applications. Switch2 can be used with PROXIMITY, CARDLOCK or TOUCHLOCK readers. Switch2 can be installed to many doors over a site, all using the same tokens. Idesco presented at Security Essen 2004 its innovative Access reader family, containing readers from 125 kHz and 13,56 MHz technology options to Mifare® readers with read or read/write functions.  One of our product highlights in the show was Access 7 CE Ethernet reader.The Access 7 CE reader can be connected directly to an existing Ethernet network through a network cable.  The system doesn’t require external terminal cards, because this reader utilizes existing Ethernet network in data transfer.Access 7 CE reader is a multi-technology reader reading the unique ID-numbers of Philips Mifare®, I-Code®, Inside PicoTag®, HID iCLASS® and most of the existing and forthcoming ISO15693 tags like Tag-it®, ST, Fujitsu, Infineon etc.

Controls 16 supervised doors.  Can be both standalone or networked.  Digital transmission including long wiring runs, multi drop connections, LAN interface options and modem options.  Can perform local or remote programming.

Idesco’s new Access 8 CM Mifare® sector reader reads application specific data from selected sectors of all Mifare® standard cards.  Multi-application cards can also be used with this reader unit.  The reader accepts any bit lengths making it compatible with almost any system. The card sectors the reader can access are protected by an additional security key, which is defined separately between the reader and the card.  The application data can only be read with Idesco Access 8 CM reader and with a correct security key. By using an encoder reader and the encoder software customers can implement their own applications and define security keys also themselves.  Also interface, default sector and timing of the data can be configured by using a configuration card which offers superior flexibility.  The reader is available in many colours and also with hand-made wooden housings.

The Cardea System from Idesco was short listed as a finalist in the Access Control Product of the year category at the 2009 IFSEC Security Industry Awards. Award winners are published on May 12 at the Award Gala of IFSEC 2009. Idesco Cardea System is a network of devices that communicate wirelessly. It is a new product family, and it enables building of open and scalable identification systems by wireless communication. The system shows its advantage in the form of fast, flexible and cost-effective installations. The wireless Cardea system frequently takes an estimated 40 minutes per door to install, compared with an average of seven hours for any wired solution. Faster installations mean cost savings for both system installers and end users. Wireless system is an optimal solution for an office environment where a cost effective and secure access control and time & attendance system is needed. A wireless system enables easy and cost-effective expansion of an existing access control system without the need of changing the existing system structure. It also makes it also possible to build solutions with two applications easily. For instance, an identification system with access control in an office environment and parking control on the parking lot outside the building can be easily implemented, using a wireless solution. Parking control outside the building can be connected to the same system with the office access control without the need of installing any - perhaps underground - cablings. A wireless identification system, built without cabling, brings RFID solutions to applications where RFID has not been utilised before. It makes it possible to build an identification system easily in places where it is not reasonable to install cablings. Some new and innovative, interesting application examples of a wireless system installation: Temporary access control systems on construction sites, events etc. Just take the system with you after the event and re-build it in another place. Small and compact solutions with few doors and few readers and a small group of users (an office environment or a shop with workers and carriers, all having access rights within the system). Harbours and other wide areas where there are a number of readers scattered around a large area and a cabling solution is impossible to carry out. Historic buildings and other sites in which cable installations are not the most optimal solution. Installation does not require opening of constructions, and without cabling the system is invisible. The Idesco Cardea system consists of separate devices, which can operate independently or form a network, i.e. an identification system. Cardea solution supports most used RFID technologies and customers don't have to replace their existing software or ID credentials.
